ED'S BARBECUE SAUCE 
2 med. onions, chopped
3/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
24 oz. jar prepared mustard
4 oz. bottle Liquid Smoke
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 (26 oz.) bottles of ketchup
7 oz. bottle Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. lemon juice
1 bottle Texas Pete (optional)
About 5 c. water

Saute onions in butter. Add brown sugar, mix well. Add mustard, mix well. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Makes 4 quarts. Stores well in refrigerator. Keeps LONG periods of time.
