GARY'S BARBECUE CHICKEN 
Bake chicken in pan at 425 degrees for 1 hour. (Put a little water in bottom of pan to keep chicken moist.) Cover with foil while baking. Punch holes in foil. Cook on grill over hot coals, basting in sauce, turning chicken every 5 minutes for 30 minutes.

(The secret is in the sauce.)

SAUCE RECIPE:

2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Texas Pete
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Heat in saucepan on medium low heat for 15 minutes. (This is enough sauce for 2 chickens.)
