QUICK AND EASY FETTUCCINE
ALFREDO
 
1 pkg. fettuccine noodles
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 lb. butter
1 egg yolk
2/3 c. half and half

Cook noodles according to package directions. While they are cooking, beat egg yolk lightly and add to half and half. Melt butter in pan, add cream mixture and heat on medium heat; stirring constantly until it begins to thicken. Drain noodles and place in a serving bowl or platter. Toss with cream mixture and add cheese.
