FETTUCCINE ALFREDO WITH HAM 
1 lb. fettuccine noodles
1/2 lb. ham
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1 egg yolk
4 tbsp. heavy cream
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. freshly grated Romano cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Boil noodles in kettle of salted water. Meanwhile beat butter until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and cream. When well blended beat in cheese, salt and plenty of black pepper.

Dice ham and saute until warm. Drain noodles well; toss with sauce. Add ham and toss. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
