SWISS STEAK 
3 lbs. round steak, cut
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. Crisco
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. minced celery
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tsp. yellow mustard
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 to 3 tsp. lemon juice
3 cans Campbell's tomato soup
Dash of Tabasco sauce

Pound steak, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cut into pieces. Melt shortening; saute onions, celery, and garlic; brown steak. Remove steak, add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Add steak and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Can also make sauce and pour over chicken pieces. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
