PEPPER STEAK | |
2 green peppers 1 1/2 lb. bottom round roast 1/4 tsp. MSG 1 1/2 c. beef bouillon Salt and pepper to taste 3 tbsp. oil 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger 1/2 tsp. powdered garlic 1/4 c. cold water Cut raw beef into bite-size pieces. Cut green pepper diagonally. Mix cornstarch, MSG and soy sauce in 1/4 cup cold water and set aside. Heat oil in skillet until hot. Remove skillet from burner and add salt, pepper, ginger and garlic. Next, add beef, saute 3 minutes. Add green pepper, mix well. Add all other ingredients except cornstarch mix. Mix thoroughly cover and cook 6 minutes. Then add cornstarch mix. Stir until juice thickens. |
