SLOPPY PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients for cake. Add undrained pineapple and slightly beaten egg. Mix well and pour into a greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Combine icing ingredients in small saucepan. Boil, stirring constantly for 5 to 6 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let set until all of the icing is absorbed by cake.
