1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. real butter or 2 sticks butter

1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cream of tartar
4 c. flour + 4 tbsp.

Keep refrigerated and covered; may use all or part. Roll into small balls, or make a long roll about half dollar size and cut into 1/2-inch slices. Place balls or pieces of cookie dough on buttered cookie pan. With hand, push dough flat and add sugar on top of dough. Bake about 10 minutes at 375 degrees or 5 minutes at 275 degrees.
