SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. soft Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix thoroughly the Crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Roll into walnut size balls and roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake lightly brown, but still soft. Bake at 400 8 to 10 minutes.
