TOMATO FRITTERS 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried basil
4 lg. tomatoes
1 tbsp. finely minced onion
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
Oil

In large bowl combine all dry ingredients. Mix well. In another bowl, combine eggs and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Wash and slice tomatoes about 1/4" thick. Dredge in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then flour again. Heat oil in large skillet, fry until golden brown. Serve warm.
