CHERRY-COCONUT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 c. coconut
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Stir in sour cream. Stir dry ingredients together. Blend into butter-sugar mixture. Stir in rest of ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
