BARBECUED MEATBALLS 
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. dry mustard

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion

Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.

Combine meats, eggs, crumbs, salt, pepper, onion and 1/2 the sauce. Mix gently until all ingredients are blended. Shape mixture into 12 balls and place in 3 inch deep muffin pans. Make a small indentation in each ball and fill with remaining sauce. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield 12 meatballs.
