“STRAWBERRY MARBLED CHEESECAKE” IS IN:

STRAWBERRY MARBLED CHEESECAKE 
Crust:

1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar

Cheesecake:

24 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
10 ounces frozen strawberries (thawed), in syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

Puree strawberries and cornstarch in blender. Heat in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened, then cool. Combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.

Bake at 350°F. for 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour half of the batter over the crust then add half of the strawberry mixture by spoonfuls to the batter. Pour remaining batter into the pan then add the remaining strawberry mixture by spoonfuls. Swirl the mixture with a knife until it resembles a marbled effect. Bake at 300°F. for 50-60 minutes or until set. Allow cheesecake to cool then remove from rim of pan. Chill overnight before serving.

I tried this last night to take to work as a treat for colleagues. Apart from using strained raspberries for half the cake I followed the recipe using half the amount of fruit for the other half of the cake. Very easy to do. I removed from the oven at 60 mins even though the center was still very soft but an internal temperature of 160°F. It firmed up very well on cooling. Excellent cheesecake (the words of my colleagues) from an excellent recipe (my words)! Thanks

I'm in an engineering college, so cooking a cheesecake's pretty much an amazing treat.... and this recipe did not disappoint! Very easy recipe if one has a blender, and easy enough to portion the batter recipe into smaller sections if your blender is not big enough.

I love to bake but don't like many sweets myself. I am well versed at making a variety of cheesecakes. This one is the first that I actually like to eat myself. It reminds me of the ice cream treats I would get that were strawberry cheesecake flavored.

The directions are spot on. It turns out a beautiful pie that is easy to serve and everyone wants a second piece of. I made it for Thanksgiving and am going to freeze a couple of pieces for family to have that missed the meal.

As for Paul, you don't put the whole batter in the blender, just the strawberries and corn starch. The batter you mix with a wooden spoon or a plastic spatula or electric hand mixer. I guess if you could use a blender, but it's more work that way it seems.

I made this recipe for Christmas except I had bought a pre-made graham cracker crust to save time. Other then that it was fantastic. Everyone loved it and begged for more. I even ate a whole one myself haha.

This was an excellent cheesecake. It was light textured, attractive, easy to make and delicious. I also prepared a topping using 300g of frozen unsweetened sliced strawberries pureed with 3/4 cup sugar and then mixed it with 1 small container of sliced fresh strawberries. It made a nice side sauce.

This is an excellent base cheesecake recipe. You can make up many different styles of cheesecake with it. For example using it to pipe into a pastry dough, or making mimi cakes using pastry dough pressed into mini cup cakes. You could use this recipe to form a base layer for pies when you want to add an additional supporting flavor to the pie.
Good job, it's quick, easy to make and taste wonderful.

This cheesecake is amazing! Has a fresh strawberry taste, even though the strawberries are frozen. I divided the recipe into 2 separate ready-made graham cracker crust (round) pans that I had on hand. Since they were not as thick as 1 in a springform pan, I reduced the baking time to about 40-45 minutes and kept checking to make sure they were both set. Took some to the neighbors and they called, wanting the recipe. Will definitely make again. Thanks!
