HOMEMADE RAISED DOUGHNUTS 
2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. honey
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 stick melted butter
Flour

Mix first 3 ingredients in a large bowl, cover with flour sack towel. Let rise until bubbly.

Add remaining ingredients. Add flour until begins to loose stickiness. Cover with towel. Let rise. Punch down. Roll out and cut out doughnuts. Place on floured cookie sheet and let rise. Fry top down first.

Flip doughnuts immediately when they rise to the surface. Sugar. Eat. I usually double this recipe. Freeze any not eaten the first day.
