FLAN CUSTARD - MARTHA'S 
4 tbsp. sugar
1 can sweet condensed milk
2 cans reg. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. corn starch
Vanilla

Heat up sugar in custard pan: when it melts spread it all over moving the pan. Let it get hard.

Mix the rest of the ingredients in the blender and pour the mixture in the pan with the hardened sugar. Pour some water in double boiler and put the pan with the custard mixture inside the double boiler. Cook it for 40 to 45 minutes at medium heat.

When it is cooked let it cool down and refrigerate. When it is cold, turn it into a serving plate after pressing all the edges with a knife. If there is any hard sugar left in the pan, heat it up until it melts and pour it over custard.

Variations: Substitute vanilla for grated orange or lemon peel.
