1 lb. lard (do not substitute)
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 c. flour
1 c. nuts, chopped (pecans recommended)

Cream lard, add sugars; cream. Add eggs; mix well. Add soda, cinnamon and flour. Mix well. Add nuts and mix. Divide into 2 or 3 rolls and chill thoroughly in refrigerator. Slice and bake at 375 to 400 degrees until brown.
