2 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated skimmed milk
12 regular marshmallows
1/2 c. butter
Few grains salt
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. cut up nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in heavy saucepan sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows, butter and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more. Take off heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until completely melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in buttered 8" square pan. Cool and cut into 30 pieces.
