FRESH STRAWBERRY AND CUSTARD PIE 
6 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
2 c. evaporated milk
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
Strawberries

Mix sugar and flour, add milk and butter, then add egg yolks (save whites for meringue). Cook over low heat, stirring until thick, add vanilla. Pour into cooked pie crust, slice fresh strawberries over top. Mix up meringue (egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar). Spread over pie. Bake until brown.
