LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. granulated sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter, flour, and confectioners' sugar together. Place in 2 (9 inch) square pans at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. In meantime, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over baked crusts; bake 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. When done, sift small amount of confectioners' sugar over top. Cool, then remove from pans.
