CHINESE ALMOND BALLS 
1 lb. butter
4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond (or vanilla) flavoring
1 c. mixed nuts
Chocolate bits (optional)

Cream butter and sugar well. Add flour, flavoring, and nuts. Roll into balls. Bake 30 minutes or until done in a 300 degree oven. Let cool and roll in powdered sugar.
