1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. water 1 c. water 1 c. flour 3 eggs 1 tsp. almond extract Mix flour, butter and 2 tbsp. water to mix as pie crust. Pat into 2 - 3 inch wide strips on a large cookie sheet. Melt 3/4 cup butter in 1 cup water and bring to a boil in saucepan. Take off the stove and add 1 cup of flour all at once. Stir and cool. Beat in 3 eggs, one at a time. Beat until smooth and add 1 tsp. almond extract. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool. Frost with powdered sugar frosting. |
