MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 c. sm. bread cubes
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. water
1-2 tbsp. drippings

Mix thoroughly beef, 1/2 cup soup, bread, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Shape firmly into a loaf.

Place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost loaf with mashed potatoes. Bake 15 minutes more. Blend remaining soup, water and drippings. Heat and serve with or spread on top of it during the last 15 minutes.
