CHIPPIE BARS 
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. Borden's sweetened condensed milk
Chocolate chips

Mix oatmeal, flour, sugar, butter and soda. Save 1/2 cup. Press into 9x13 pan. Pour milk over crust and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Top with remaining crust mix. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

In place of canned milk: 1/3 c. water 1 stick butter 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. powdered milk

Boil sugar, water and butter for 1 minute. Add powdered milk. Stir and cool slightly. Put in blender (on high) for 10 seconds.
