CARAMEL CORN POPS 
1 (10 oz.) box Corn Pops cereal
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine cereal and nuts in greased large shallow baking pan.

In saucepan, bring butter, sugar and corn syrup to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla and baking soda. Pour caramel mixture over cereal and nuts and stir well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour onto waxed paper and break apart. Allow to cool and store in airtight container. Makes approximately 10 cups of snack mix.
