NO-FAIL PIE CRUST | |
3 c. flour 1 c. lard or shortening 1 tsp. salt 1 beaten egg 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/4 c. cold water Combine 3 cups flour, lard and salt with pastry blender until pea sized particles. Blend together 1 beaten egg, vinegar, and cold water in small bowl. Gradually add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, mix until dough ball forms. Roll out on lightly floured surface. makes 2 doubles or 4 singles. |
