CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. head cabbage
1 tbsp. bacon grease, for seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper
1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 c. buttered cracker crumbs
1/2 c. milk

Shred cabbage. Add seasoning and salt and pepper. Water and cook until tender. Drain and put in casserole dish. Make cheese sauce by melting butter and adding flour to make paste. Add milk and stir until thick. Add cheese and cook over low heat until melted. Pour over cabbage. Add buttered cracker crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
