“CANDIED COCONUT” IS IN:

CANDIED COCONUT 
2 coconuts
1 cup sugar

Drain milk from coconuts; save. Break open coconuts and peel off shell.

Slice coconut thin and place in baking dish. Add water to coconut milk to make 1 cup.

Combine coconut milk and sugar. Pour over coconut and bake at 325°F for 2 to 3 hours. Stir every 30 minutes until the last 45 minutes, then stir every 10 minutes.

Note: The coconut will be browned and candied when done.
