CHOCOLATE COCONUT CANDIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
2/3 c. light Karo syrup
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 stick paraffin wax, coarsely grated
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat Karo syrup but DO NOT BOIL. Pour over coconut. Mix thoroughly and let stand for approximately 2 hours. Wet hands slightly and roll coconut mixture to form balls or oval shape. Place on wax paper on a cookie sheet and chill thoroughly, 2-3 hours.

Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax in double boiler. Dip each candy ball in chocolate mixture and put back onto wax paper. Yields about 50 pieces.
