WHITE LASAGNA SAUCE | |
3/4 c. butter 7 1/2 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. heavy cream 1 c. reserved broth 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/2 tsp. tarragon 1/2 tsp. Beau Monde 1/2 tsp. salt 1 dash nutmeg 1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese In large sauce pan melt butter. Blend in flour and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add milk, cream and reserved broth, stirring constantly until mixture boils and begins to thicken. Add seasonings. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. |
