What type of sour cream should be used - soured whipping cream or commercial sour cream?

Hi Pat,

The recipe means for you to use real sour cream that you buy at the supermarket.

Hello, I have been looking for a dated-filled cookie that my husbands mamma use to make. When she died, I ask for the cookbook, but it got thrown away. This sounds like it, do you know if your mom ever put dates instead of raisins? Thanks Sherry
