APPLE DUMPLINGS 
3 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. butter
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. water

SYRUP:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water

Peel and core 5 apples. Place each one in center of a portion of rolled dough. Fill center of apple with sugar, cinnamon and dab of butter. Wrap dough up around apple. Place each dumpling on baking sheet with sides. Cover with syrup. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
