ITALIANO LASAGNA | |
1 1/2 lbs. Italian sausage 1 green pepper, chopped 8 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained 15 1/2 oz. spaghetti sauce 1 lb. dry curd cottage cheese 1 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. grated Romano cheese 9 strips Martha Gooch ribbed lasagna, uncooked In large skillet, saute sausage; drain off excess fat, add green pepper, mushrooms and spaghetti sauce; heat thoroughly. In 13x9 greased baking dish, place 3 strips of uncooked lasagna, add 1/3 meat sauce, 1/3 cottage cheese and 1/3 Mozzarella cheese; repeat process twice. Sprinkle with Romano cheese; cover. Bake 350 oven 30 minutes. Uncover; continue baking additional 30 minutes. Let set 10 minutes prior to cutting. |
