JELLO COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) Jello, raspberry
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream shortening with sugar and Jello. Beat until light and add eggs and vanilla then beat. Add flour and baking powder to mixture and beat. Shape into 3/4 inch balls and dip into white or colored sugar. Place on cookie sheet and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
