HUNGARIAN SQUARES (MAGYARKIADOS) 
1 lb. flour
1 lb. sweet butter
1/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/4 c. sweet cream (I like whipping cream)

FILLING:

1 jar Levkar (1# jar) or 1 jar apricots
Nut mixture of your choice

Rub flour, sugar and butter together until mixture is very fine like pie dough. Beat eggs with sweet cream and add to flour mixture. Knead together and flour a ball. Set aside for 1 hour to rest. Roll 1/2 of the dough out very thin. Cut with heated knife and place filling in the center of the 2 inch square and pinch opposite ends together. Place carefully on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
