ZUCCHINI DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 c. grated zucchini
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins (opt.)

Cream shortening and sugar; add soda, egg and zucchini. Sift in flour, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop batter by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Yield: 3 dozen.
