ORIENTAL SALAD 
Med. head chinese cabbage, sliced diagonally
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 pkg. Ramen noodles, discard seasoning packet
1/4 c. butter
2 3/4 c. sliced almonds
1/4 to 1/2 c. sesame seed

Set aside cabbage and onions. Lightly brown butter, add noodles broken into small bits and lightly brown. Add almonds and lightly brown, and finally sesame seeds and lightly brown. Cool.

Bring 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup vinegar and 3/4 cup oil and 2 tablespoons soy sauce to boil. Boil one minute. Set aside and cool.

Just before serving mix greens and noodles mixture together and add the dressing.
