H.'S FAMOUS CHICKEN SALAD
ORIENTAL
 
4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked (boiled) cut in thin slices
4 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 pkg. wonton skins, cut in strips and deep fried
1 sm. head lettuce, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. almonds

SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:

Mix the following in medium bowl:

1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. soy sauce
6 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp. water

Marinate cooked and cut chicken in sweet and sour sauce several hours prior to serving in refrigerator. Put lettuce and wonton skins in large bowl. Add chicken and sauce. Toss. Then sprinkle with onions, sesame seeds and almonds.
