APRICOT - WALNUT BREAD 
2 c. Biscuit mix
1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dried apricots, chopped
1 c. nuts, coarsely chopped
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/4 c. milk

Stir together first 5 ingredients. Mix in apricots and walnuts. Combine egg and milk; add to dry ingredients and beat for 30 seconds or until blended. Pour into 3 greased (#2) cans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done or bake in a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan for 1 hour. Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool. Add a vanilla glaze and a few whole apricot slices and nut halves for decoration.
