1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 box powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 c. coconut; optional

Mix cake mix, 1 egg and butter; press into bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and other eggs, then add coconut and chips. Spread on top of first layer. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
