SAWMILL GRAVY | |
1/2 lb. hot bulk sausage 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 c. milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Cook sausage until brown in large skillet over medium heat. Drain and reserve 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Blend in flour; brown, stirring constantly. Add milk. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Add sausage, salt, and pepper; simmer 2 minutes. Serve over hot, open faced biscuits. Makes about 3 cups. |
