PECAN FINGERS 
1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
2 c. pecans, chopped (nut meats)
1 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour and nut meats. Cream butter well. Add sugar gradually. Continue creaming until light and fluffy. Add extract and mix. Add flour mixture gradually and mix. Shape into bars 1/2 inch thick and finger length wide (on wax paper) and chill. Cool a little before removing from cookie sheets. Wait until almost completely cool to roll in confectioners sugar. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
