RED AND WHITE JELLO 
2 sm. pkgs. strawberry jello or 1 lg.
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
2 med. mashed bananas or 1 lg. jar of baby food
1 lb. drained crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pt. sour cream

Dissolve the jello in boiling water. Fold in remaining ingredients. Put half of this mixture into a 12 x 8 x 2 inch pan and let set slightly (will set quickly). Leave other half out of refrigerator. When first layer is set spread sour cream over it. Put rest of gelatin mixture on top of the sour cream layer. Refrigerate until ready. Serves 12. Can be made one hour ahead of serving time.
