DON SCOTT'S BISCUITS | |
4 c. flour 2 rounded tsp. baking soda 4 rounded tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. salt 1 lg. tbsp. cold vegetable shortening 2 c. milk Sift the dry ingredients and work in the vegetable shortening. Add milk and mix. Place on floured board. Roll out one inch thick, cut and half dip each biscuit in melted butter as you place in greased pan. Bake in greased pan in very hot oven. |
