SAN FRANCISCO BEEF
1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into strips
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sherry
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 lb. fresh broccoli or asparagus
1 med. onion, sliced
4-6 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. Accent
1/2 tsp. salt

Marinate the steak for several hours in a combination of the soy sauce, sherry, sugar and cornstarch. Keep turning to coat the meat. Cut the broccoli or asparagus diagonally in small pieces. Drop in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain under cold water.

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1/2 cup oil and saute the meat, onions and mushrooms for 1 minute. Add the broccoli or asparagus. Add the Accent and the salt. Stir 2-3 minutes. Serve over rice with a citrus salad and crunchy roll. Serves 4.
