CARAMEL-CHOCOLATE SQUARES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft Caramels
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. butter
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. coconut (flaked)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat caramels and 1/4 cup milk in saucepan, stirring constantly until melted. Mix cake mix (dry), butter and remaining milk and nuts. Spread half of dough in ungreased rectangular pan. Bake 6 minutes, remove from oven. Drizzle caramel mixture over the top, then coconut. Drop remaining cake mixture over top spreading evenly. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Cool then refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars.
