CHERRY COFFEECAKE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Blend in remaining ingredients except pie filing. Place 2/3 of batter in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter by teaspoonfuls over top of cherries. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Combine confectioners' sugar and melted butter. Stir in milk to reach spreading consistency and drizzle over coffeecake.
