1 (48 oz.) jar Great Northern beans
2 lg. Granny Smith apples, peeled & cubed (about 3 c.)
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt (optional)

Melt butter, add cubed apples and cook until tender. Add brown sugar and white sugar and cook until sugar is melted. Stir in catsup, cinnamon, and molasses. Add beans and mix well. Pour mixture into a two-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees about one hour.
