DATE PIE 
1 pkg. chopped dates
1 1/2 pt. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 beaten eggs
Salt to taste

Cook dates in milk, slowly, approximately 1/2 hour until soft. Cool.

Add sugar, cinnamon, eggs, and salt. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees and then 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
