Sounds good, but where do you get the 190 proof grain alchohol?

In Wisconsin, we can get Everclear (190 proof) at the grocery store in the liquor isle or the liquor stores.

I have used this recipe many times. It makes great Kaluha.

I live in oregon and you can buy "Everclear" which is 190 proof in any liquor store........It makes the best homemade much better than vodka, plus then you don't have to add vodka for black russians ect....

You can also cut back on the water and sugar and use the 151 proof.

When I make Kahlua I use 100% Vodka. Add vodka when making Black Russian. 1 part to 1 part. Be careful, this is a sipping recipe.

I've made Kahlua for years. I use 1 pint everclear, 1 liter vodka and 8 oz. vanilla.

190 proof! In Canada I think you can be jailed for life! We used to use alcohol but that is also not available anymore, we just double up the vodka and drink twice a as fast as our American neighbours!
