3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar, and egg. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Add apples, nuts and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
